PKH and BPNT Social Assistance for April 2026 Begins Disbursement, 11,014 Recipients Removed, Check Your Name Now

News of the disbursement of social assistance (bansos) for PKH and BPNT in April 2026 is eagerly awaited by the public. The government has confirmed that the social assistance under the Family Hope Programme (PKH) and Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) for the second quarter of 2026 will begin distribution this month. However, behind this disbursement, thousands of recipients have been removed from the lists. Therefore, the public is urged to check their social assistance status immediately to ensure they are still registered or not. Social Minister Saifullah Yusuf stated that the disbursement will commence from the second week of April 2026, earlier than previous periods. This acceleration is due to the updating of the National Single Socio-Economic Data (DTSEN), which is now routinely updated every month. With this system, the distribution of social assistance becomes faster, more accurate, and on target. Head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Amalia Adininggar explained that the removals are due to inclusion errors, namely recipients who are actually no longer eligible for assistance. Some of them are known to be in the middle-income economic group (deciles 5–10), thus no longer falling into the poor or vulnerable category.
