PKB's 28th Anniversary Adopts 'Prabowonomics' Theme, Cak Imin Says Inspired by President

The National Awakening Party (PKB) Chairman Muhaimin Iskandar, also known as Cak Imin, revealed the reason his party adopted the theme ‘Prabowonomics’ for its 28th anniversary celebration. According to him, the theme was inspired by the spirit of President Prabowo Subianto in guiding a new direction for the national economy. “The theme for PKB’s 28th anniversary this time is ‘A New Direction for the Constitutional Economic Mandate’. And this theme is shortened to one word: ‘Prabowonomics’,” Cak Imin said during his speech at the PKB anniversary event at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Senayan, Jakarta, on Thursday. According to Cak Imin, the theme is a form of gratitude and a commitment from PKB to continue supporting the new direction of national economic development so that Indonesia becomes a self-reliant nation. Cak Imin then revealed that the choice of theme was inspired by Prabowo. “This theme is a form of gratitude and PKB’s seriousness to continue working together to bring a new direction for the national economy, to become a self-reliant and strong nation based on its own strength,” he said. “And all of us in PKB are inspired by the spirit and sincerity of the President to continue guarding this new economic direction amidst various challenges that are not easy, both geo-economic and geopolitical,” he continued. Cak Imin also shared one of Prabowo’s messages that he often hears regarding the importance of implementing the constitutional mandate, specifically Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution which regulates the national economy. According to Cak Imin, this message aligns with PKB’s commitment to restoring the people’s economic rights as the main objective of the state. “Our clerics, our kiai, we often hear the President say, ‘Before you sleep, remember Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution. When you wake up, remember Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution’,” he said. “This is in line with PKB’s hope and commitment that our main goal as a state is none other than to restore the people’s economic rights so that prosperity can be achieved as quickly as possible,” he added.
