PKB to Invite President Prabowo to 28th Anniversary Peak Event

The National Awakening Party (PKB) will invite President Prabowo Subianto to the party’s anniversary celebration on 23 July 2026. In addition to Prabowo, the organising committee is also inviting the leaders of all political parties to the 28th PKB anniversary. “The peak event will be held on the evening of 23 July, which God willing will be attended by the President of the Republic of Indonesia along with all leaders of friendly political parties,” said the Secretary of the PKB Anniversary Organising Committee, Rivqy Abdul Halim, during a press conference at the PKB Central Executive Board office in Central Jakarta, Monday, 6 July 2026. The 28th PKB anniversary carries the theme ‘New Direction for the Constitutional Economic Mandate’. On the morning of 23 July 2026, PKB will also invite Islamic scholars from all pesantren across Indonesia, including holding a gathering of ulama in Jakarta. “On the morning of 23 July, we will invite kiai from all over Indonesia, kiai from all Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia. We are holding an Ijtima Ulama meeting in Jakarta,” said Rivqy. PKB has also donated to the construction of a school in West Kalimantan. Rivqy stated that this donation fulfils a promise made by PKB Chairman Muhaimin Iskandar last year to provide aid for school construction in West Kalimantan. “Furthermore, there will be a tree planting activity in Cempaka Putih. This tree planting will be followed by similar activities at all branch and regional executive boards throughout Indonesia. We will also hold several discussions, including Artificial Intelligence discussions for all pesantren across Indonesia, which God willing will be attended by at least 10,000 pesantren in Indonesia,” he said. In addition, party bodies will also carry out several agendas. “There will be a mini soccer event and also a PKB Run. The PKB Run will be held on 25 July in Senayan,” said Rivqy. The series of anniversary events will be held from 22 to 26 July 2026. The event will be filled with various agendas, one of the main ones being the simultaneous inauguration of 514 PKB Branch Executive Boards from all over Indonesia. The inauguration will involve approximately 3,500 PKB officials. In the same series, PKB is also organising technical guidance for members of Provincial DPRD, Regency/City DPRD, as well as regional heads and deputy regional heads who are PKB cadres. Rivqi stated that this technical guidance aims to strengthen the capacity of cadres in carrying out legislative, governmental, supervisory, and public service functions oriented towards the interests of the people. Overall, the anniversary series will be attended by approximately 3,585 participants from all over Indonesia, consisting of members of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Provincial DPRD, Regency/City DPRD, regional heads/deputy regional heads who are PKB cadres, as well as the ranks of regional and branch executive boards. Participants come from all regions of Indonesia, with a distribution of 900 participants from Sumatra, 1,304 from Java, 338 from Kalimantan, 420 from Sulawesi, 364 from Bali-Nusa Tenggara-Maluku, and 206 from Papua Raya. To support the smooth running of the event, the committee has prepared 59 assistance teams divided into 11 zones, so that all participants receive integrated support from attendance confirmation, QR Code-based registration, accommodation, mobilisation, to departure. As the closing of the anniversary series, PKB will hold the PKB RUN 2026 on 25-26 July 2026.
