PKB remembers Try Sutrisno as a firm and critical figure

Jakarta – The leader of the National Awakening Party (PKB) faction in the Indonesian House of Representatives, Jazilul Fawaid, has remembered the late sixth Vice President of Indonesia, Try Sutrisno, who recently passed away, as a figure of integrity and critical resolve.

He stated that Try Sutrisno was a statesman figure who consistently upheld national values. Even in his advanced years, Try Sutrisno maintained a firm and critical stance on various national issues.

“His input and viewpoints were always directed towards a better Indonesia,” Jazilul said in Jakarta on Monday.

Additionally, he noted that during his lifetime, Try Sutrisno was known as a principled, firm, and humble figure. His dedication and integrity in carrying out his state responsibilities serve as an example for future generations.

On behalf of the PKB, he also conveyed his deepest condolences over the passing of such a figure.

According to him, the Indonesian nation grieves the loss of one of its finest sons who had provided decades of service to the country.

“On behalf of the PKB faction in the House of Representatives, I extend my deepest sympathies to the extended family of the deceased,” he said.

For this reason, he hoped that all the services and dedication of the deceased would become an act of worship and be remembered as an important part of the nation’s historical journey.

“May the deceased achieve a blessed end and may the surviving family be given patience and strength,” he said.

Previously, the sixth Vice President of Indonesia, Try Sutrisno, passed away at the Army Central Hospital (RSPAD) Gatot Soebroto in Jakarta on Monday morning at approximately 07.00 WIB. Information regarding Try Sutrisno’s death was conveyed through a message circulated on behalf of the family and the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP), and was confirmed by several officials from the State Secretariat Ministry and the Presidential Security Force (Paspampres).

According to the information, the body of the sixth Vice President Try Sutrisno will be washed at RSPAD before being taken to the funeral home at 6 Purwakarta Street, Menteng, Central Jakarta.
