PKB prepared to attend Asian political parties conference in South Korea
The National Board of the National Awakening Party (DPP PKB) has received an invitation to attend the General Assembly of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP), which is scheduled to take place in Seoul, South Korea, from 4 to 7 November 2026.
Luluk Nur Hamidah, the PKB Chairperson for International Cooperation, stated in a briefing received in Jakarta on Saturday that the invitation was extended by ICAPP Secretary-General Kwon Hee-seog during a visit to the PKB headquarters.
“We feel honoured to receive the visit of our South Korean friend, Ambassador Kwon, at the PKB office, and PKB is prepared to attend the General Assembly of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties in Seoul,” said Luluk.
Luluk noted that political cooperation must continue to be strengthened as a foundation for increasingly robust bilateral relations. She emphasised that the exchange of ideas, democratic experiences, and cooperation between political parties are vital components in building broader understanding and collaboration across the Asian region.
She added that PKB, as a party open to constructive and mutually beneficial international cooperation, welcomes various opportunities for collaboration with partners in South Korea. “PKB is open to expanding synergy and cooperation with various parties in South Korea,” she concluded.
