PKB NTB revs up the engine! Simultaneous branch congresses held ahead of 2029 elections

Mataram (ANTARA) - The National Awakening Party (PKB) in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) will hold simultaneous branch congresses (Muscab) across all regencies and cities on 16 April 2026 as an effort to strengthen consolidation ahead of the 2029 elections.

PKB NTB Provincial Board Chairman, who is also Deputy Chairman of Commission X of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Lalu Hadrian Irfani, stated that the Muscab is the highest deliberative forum at the branch level to determine the organisational structure.

“Insha’Allah, on 16 April 2026, PKB will hold simultaneous branch congresses,” he said on Wednesday.

He explained that the Muscab will focus on organisational consolidation, strengthening the leadership structure, and preparing work programmes.

“Consolidation, preparing a resilient leadership structure, and formulating work programmes will be the main focus of the Muscab,” he said.

“The Muscab will serve as a strategic forum to strengthen cadre solidarity and unite the party’s fighting spirit in order to achieve victory in the 2029 elections,” he added.

Hadrian affirmed that PKB targets victory in all regencies and cities in NTB in the 2029 elections.

“PKB’s target is to win in all regencies and cities in NTB,” he said.

In addition, he called on all PKB cadres and officials at various levels to ensure the success of the agenda.

“I hope all cadres and officials from all levels can ensure the success of this simultaneous Muscab,” he said.

He is optimistic that through this simultaneous Muscab, PKB can demonstrate its readiness to face the 2029 elections.

“With this Muscab, PKB is showing its readiness to win the 2029 elections in NTB,” he said.
