PKB Legislator Demands Thorough Investigation into HGB Bribery Case: No Parties Should Be Protected
Abdullah, a member of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR) from the PKB Faction, has called on the Corruption Eradasting Commission (KPK) to thoroughly investigate the alleged bribery case regarding the processing of unblocking building rights (HGB) for Summarecon land in Bogor Regency, West Java. He hopes this investigation serves as a momentum to eradicate the land mafia.
“We request the KPK to investigate this case to the end. Anyone proven to be involved must be held accountable in accordance with legal provisions. No party should be protected,” Abdullah told reporters on Wednesday (16/09/2026).
According to Abdullah, the handling of the case must be conducted professionally, transparently, and accountably. He hopes the investigation is completed comprehensively.
“If there are indeed allegations of bribery in the processing of HGB, it must be uncovered who requested it, who gave it, who acted as the intermediary, and what the mechanism was. Everything must be examined objectively based on evidence,” he said.
He requested that the sting operation (OTT) within the Bogor National Land Agency (BPN) not be viewed merely as an individual case. In his view, the case should serve as a momentum for a thorough cleansing of land mafia practices suspected of involving various parties.
“This sting operation must be a momentum to clean up the land mafia. Do not just touch one or two people. If there is a network, dismantle the network. If there are brokers or private parties involved, prosecute them. If there are officials abusing their authority, prosecute them as well,” said Abdullah.
“Land is a very important asset for the community. The state must provide legal certainty and clean services. The public, who should receive their land rights, must not be made difficult and then forced to use broker services or pay illegal levies,” he added.
Previously, the KPK has named eight individuals as suspects in the alleged bribery case regarding the unblocking of building rights (HGB) for Summarecon land in Bogor Regency, West Java. Of that number, four are alleged to be close associates of the Minister of ATR/BPN, Nusron Wahid.

Sontang Coin Manurung (Son) as Head of the Bogor Regency Land Office I
Adrianto Pitojo Adi (Adr) as President Director of Summarecon
Arif Sugiyanto (Arf) as a private party, allegedly a close associate of Minister ATR/BPN Nusron Wahid
Fahd El Fouz or Fahd A Rafiq (Fez) as a private party, allegedly a close associate of Minister ATR/BPN Nusron Wahid
Rizal Pahlevi (Lev) as a private party
Erwin (Erw) as a private party, allegedly a close associate of Minister ATR/BPN Nusron Wahid
Muhammad Fakhry (Mf) as a private party, allegedly a close associate of Minister ATR/BPN Nusron Wahid.
