PKB Invites President Prabowo to 28th Anniversary Peak Event

The National Awakening Party (PKB) has announced it is inviting President Prabowo Subianto to the peak celebration of its 28th anniversary (Harlah), scheduled to take place in Jakarta on 23 July 2026. “The peak event will be held on the evening of 23 July, which God willing will be attended by the President of the Republic of Indonesia along with all leaders of friendly political parties,” said Rivqy Abdul Halim, Secretary of the 28th PKB Anniversary Committee, at the DPP PKB office in Jakarta on Monday. Prior to the main event, Rivqy explained that PKB has prepared a series of pre-event activities to mark the anniversary. “This is a promise from the General Chair (PKB General Chair Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar) made a year ago, and we will realise it,” he said. On the same date, the party will hold a ‘PKB Tree Party’, a simultaneous tree-planting movement involving branch and regional executive boards across Indonesia. Furthermore, on 12 and 20 July 2026, PKB will organise public viewings of the 2026 World Cup. “Yes, we will certainly hold a watch party. Friends can join the World Cup watch party from the quarter-finals, God willing, through to the final,” he stated. Following this, the anniversary proceedings will commence with the simultaneous inauguration of 514 branch executive boards and 38 regional executive boards by the PKB General Chair. “This is also a momentum for leadership regeneration within the National Awakening Party across all branch and regional boards in Indonesia. God willing, the inauguration of PKB branch and regional boards will be held simultaneously on 22 July,” he said. Rivqy added that to close the series of 28th anniversary events, the party will hold the PKB RUN 2026 in Jakarta on 25-26 July 2026.
