PKB Invites President Prabowo to 28th Anniversary Peak Event

The National Awakening Party (PKB) has announced that it has invited President Prabowo Subianto to the peak event of the party’s 28th anniversary (Harlah), which is scheduled to take place in Jakarta on 23 July 2026.

“The peak event will be held on the night of 23 July and, God willing, will be attended by the President of the Republic of Indonesia along with all leaders of allied political parties,” said the Secretary of the 28th PKB Anniversary Committee, Rivqy Abdul Halim, at the PKB National Headquarters in Jakarta on Monday.

Prior to the main event, Rivqy explained that PKB is preparing several pre-event activities to welcome its 28th anniversary. “This is a promise made by the General Chairman (PKB Chairman Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar) one year ago, and we will realise it,” he said.

On the same date, he stated that PKB will hold the ‘PKB Tree Festival’, a simultaneous tree-planting movement across all branch offices (DPC) and regional offices (DPW) throughout Indonesia.

Furthermore, on 12 and 20 July 2026, PKB will organise public screenings for the 2026 World Cup. “Yes, we will certainly hold screenings. Friends can join the World Cup screenings, perhaps starting from the quarter-finals through to the final, God willing,” he added.

Following these, the anniversary series will commence with the simultaneous inauguration of 514 branch officials and 38 regional officials by the PKB General Chairman. “This also serves as a momentum for leadership regeneration within the National Awakening Party across all branches and regional offices in Indonesia. God willing, on 22 July, the simultaneous inauguration of PKB branches and regional offices across Indonesia will be held.

Rivqy added that to conclude the 28th anniversary series, the party will organise ‘PKB RUN 2026’ in Jakarta from 25 to 26 July 2026.
