PKB Hopes Strong Ties with China's CPC Will Bolster Bilateral Diplomacy

The National Awakening Party (PKB) hopes that its good relationship with the Chinese Communist Party (CPC) can strengthen diplomacy between Indonesia and China. “This good relationship between PKB and the CPC is expected to be a tangible contribution to strengthening Indonesia-China relations, maintaining regional stability, and supporting the creation of shared peace and prosperity,” said Luluk Nur Hamidah, Chair of the PKB Central Executive Board (DPP) for Foreign Cooperation, in a statement confirmed in Jakarta on Wednesday. According to Luluk, her party believes this because inter-party diplomacy plays a strategic role in building mutual understanding, strengthening trust, and fostering international cooperation amidst increasingly complex geopolitical dynamics. She stated that PKB will continue to encourage communication and cooperation with various political parties worldwide as part of a diplomacy oriented towards peace, development, and shared prosperity. “Inter-party diplomacy is not just about building institutional relations, but also about exchanging development experiences, strengthening concrete cooperation, and seeking joint solutions to global challenges faced by the international community,” she said. In the same statement, she conveyed PKB’s congratulations to the CPC on the 105th anniversary of the party’s founding. The congratulations were sent through an official letter from PKB Chairman Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar to the Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, Liu Jianchao. In the letter, PKB expressed its appreciation for the CPC’s more than a century-long journey in leading China’s development. PKB assessed that various achievements, such as poverty alleviation, economic growth, and technological advancement, have made significant contributions to the progress of China and global development. PKB hopes that the CPC will continue to successfully lead the Chinese people towards prosperity, harmony, and sustainable development.
