The National Awakening Party (PKB) held the inauguration of its Branch Leadership Councils (DPC) from across Indonesia on Wednesday evening (22/7/2026). The event was attended by Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung.

The ceremony took place at Fatahillah Square in the Kota Tua area of Jakarta, Pinangsia, Taman Sari, West Jakarta. PKB Chairman Muhaimin Iskandar, known as Cak Imin, was seen wearing traditional Balinese attire alongside his wife, Rustini Muhaimin Iskandar.

Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung and his wife Endang Nugrahani were also present. Pramono was observed chatting with Cak Imin about the easy access to Kota Tua and the availability of various public transport options.

The event commenced with a parade of all DPCs grouped by their respective provinces. Participants uniformly wore traditional clothing from their home regions. The ceremony continued with a video mapping presentation showcasing PKB’s service, followed by the singing of the national anthem, Indonesia Raya.

In his remarks, Pramono highlighted Cak Imin’s track record in politics, stating that his leadership has been well tested. “The achievements of PKB and the leadership of Muhaimin Iskandar have been very well tested,” Pramono said at the venue. The inauguration involved 514 DPCs, with a total of 19,675 personnel being sworn in.
