PKB Cadres Don 'Prabowonomics' Shirts at 28th Anniversary Event

Hundreds of PKB cadres were seen wearing white shirts with the word ‘Prabowonomics’ on the front during the party’s 28th anniversary celebration at the Jakarta Convention Centre (JCC) on Thursday evening. PKB Chairman Muhaimin Iskandar explained the meaning behind the term. He stated that for the past 20 years, Indonesia had been tossed about by circumstances beyond its control and dictated to by the market. However, since Prabowo became president, Indonesia has emphasised self-reliance and refused to be dictated to by the market. ‘Since this President, we have refused to be dictated to by the market. We want to use our own path. What is it? The constitution. What is it? The economic mindset believed in by Mr Prabowo, we call it Prabowonomics. What is it? Self-reliance, not depending on anyone,’ Muhaimin said. President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming attended the anniversary event. Other party elites present included Gerindra Daily Chairman Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Democrat Chairman Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, Golkar Chairman Bahlil Lahadalia, PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan, PKS President Al Muzammil Yusuf, and PDIP elite Djarot Syaiful Hidayat.
