PKB Cadres Don 'Prabowonomics' Shirts at 28th Anniversary Event

Hundreds of PKB members turned out in matching shirts emblazoned with the word “Prabowonomics” at the party’s 28th anniversary celebration at JCC, Jakarta, on Thursday evening (23/7).

According to observations, the shirts worn by the PKB members were white, with the word “Prabowonomics” printed on the front.

PKB Chairman Muhaimin Iskandar explained the meaning behind the term “Prabowonomics”. He said that over the past 20 years, Indonesia had been tossed about by circumstances beyond its control and dictated by the market.

However, since Prabowo became president, Indonesia has emphasised self-reliance and refused to be dictated to by the market.

“Since this Pak President, we no longer want to be dictated to by the market, we want to take our own path. What is that? The constitution, what is that? The economic way of thinking believed in by Pak Prabowo, we write it as Prabowonomics, what is that? Self-reliance, not depending on anyone,” said Muhaimin.

President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming attended the anniversary event.

Beyond Prabowo and Gibran, a number of other party elites were also present, including Gerindra Daily Chairman Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Democratic Party Chairman Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, and Golkar Chairman Bahlil Lahadalia.

Also in attendance were PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan, PKS President Al Muzammil Yusuf, and PDIP figure Djarot Syaiful Hidayat.
