Perum Jasa Tirta II (PJT II), the state-owned water utility, has ensured that water resource operations and maintenance activities will continue optimally during the joint leave period and Eid al-Fitr holiday in 1447 Hijriah.

This preparedness is being implemented in tandem with the work-from-anywhere (WFA) policy during the 2026 Eid al-Fitr period for civil servants, state-owned enterprises, and the private sector on 16–17 March and 25–28 March 2026.

The company is ensuring that water resource management remains at maximum capacity through strengthened monitoring systems, increased personnel readiness, and operational arrangements in the field. These measures are being taken to ensure all water resource service functions continue to operate normally throughout the holiday period.

Operational scheduling and personnel assignments have been arranged across various strategic infrastructure facilities managed by the company, including dams, water channels, and hydroelectric power plants (PLTA). Intensive monitoring is also being conducted to ensure all water management systems function properly and to anticipate potential disruptions during the holiday period.

PJT II Chief Executive Officer Imam Santoso stated that the company continues to prioritise water resource management services as a top priority, including during national holidays and major religious celebrations.

He explained that during the Eid al-Fitr holiday period, the company will deploy operational teams in the field to ensure all water resource infrastructure operates properly.

“Monitoring of dams, water channels, and hydroelectric power generation facilities will continue to be carried out to ensure services to the community remain maintained,” Imam said.

Beyond maintaining infrastructure operations, PJT II is also ensuring that the stability of raw water supply remains secure to meet the needs of communities and other strategic sectors. Water operation management is being carried out in a planned manner so that raw water supply remains available safely and sustainably during the Eid al-Fitr holiday period.

The company is also conducting regular monitoring of hydrological conditions by utilising a digital-based monitoring system. This measure is being taken to ensure that water operation management can be carried out optimally in accordance with requirements.

Through this preparedness, PJT II hopes that communities can celebrate Eid al-Fitr comfortably while the water resource management system continues to operate properly.
