Pipemaker gets ISO certificate

JAKARTA: Steel pipe producer PT Seamless Pipe Indonesia Jaya, a subsidiary of Bakrie & Brothers Tbk., received on Wednesday an ISO 14001 certificate for its environmental protection management program.

The firm said in a statement that the certificate proved its commitment to meeting international standards and would make it better prepared to face global competition.

The firm exports its products to Southeast Asia, China, the Middle East and Europe. -- JP
