Piped water interrupted today

JAKARTA (JP): The city-owned water company PAM Jaya announced yesterday it will temporarily suspend the supply of tap water in a number of areas in the city today.

The company announced that the interruption is due to maintenance activities at its distribution center in Pejompongan, which is scheduled to take place between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m.

Tap water service will cease to flow in several parts of Tanah Abang, Jati Baru, Cideng, Gambir, Jembatan Lima, Tambora, Taman Sari, Krendang, Pekojan, Gajah Mada, Hayam Wuruk, Slipi, Palmerah, Tomang, Tanjung Duren, Pademangan and Penjaringan.(yns)
