Pintu's Strategy to Expand Adoption of Crypto Derivative Trading

Pintu, one of the crypto asset investment platform providers in Indonesia, has released Pintu Futures Lite, a crypto derivative trading mode feature designed with a simple interface and a minimalist transaction flow.

The presence of this feature is said to be the company’s strategy to expand the adoption of derivative trading in Indonesia by prioritising user convenience and comfort, in line with the growing public interest in crypto asset investment instruments.

Through this feature, traders can open long or short positions in three steps while still prioritising risk management, such as through isolated margin, take profit, and stop loss.

“We hope this feature can serve as a bridge for inclusion as well as a safe initial experience for new traders, while also becoming a new option for users apart from the Pintu Futures Pro feature which offers a more advanced experience,” said Andy in a press release on Wednesday (19/8/2026).

The feature is designed with user convenience in mind through a simple interface, where users can open a position in just three steps.

First, users simply choose the direction of the position: long if they expect the asset price to rise, or short if they expect the price to fall. Second, users enter the margin amount and determine the leverage size through the available slider, up to a maximum of 25 times the initial capital, according to the user’s risk tolerance limit (risk appetite).

Third, once the position is open, the system will display the position status in real-time and users can immediately set Take Profit (TP) and Stop Loss (SL) through the active position detail page. This three-step flow is designed to make crypto derivative transactions easier, especially for users who are trying a leveraged investment instrument for the first time.
