Jakarta (ANTARA) - The National Strategic Food Price Information Centre (PIHPS), managed by Bank Indonesia, recorded the price of red cayenne pepper at Rp83,550 per kilogram (kg), whilst chicken eggs stood at Rp32,100 per kg.

Based on PIHPS data released in Jakarta on Tuesday at 10:45 Western Indonesian Time, in addition to red cayenne pepper, national retail-level food prices were recorded as follows: red shallots at Rp44,900 per kg and garlic at Rp39,750 per kg.

Furthermore, lower-quality rice grade I was priced at Rp14,100 per kg, with lower-quality rice grade II at Rp13,900 per kg. Medium-quality rice grade I was at Rp15,600 per kg, and medium-quality rice grade II at Rp15,500 per kg.

Meanwhile, super-quality rice grade I was priced at Rp17,000 per kg, and super-quality rice grade II at Rp16,500 per kg.

PIHPS also recorded large red chilli prices reaching Rp43,450 per kg, curly red chilli at Rp46,100 per kg, and green cayenne pepper at Rp48,250 per kg.

Broiler chicken meat was priced at Rp41,100 per kg, beef quality grade I at Rp139,750 per kg, and beef quality grade II at Rp133,900 per kg.

The next commodity prices recorded were premium-quality granulated sugar at Rp19,400 per kg and local granulated sugar at Rp18,250 per kg.

Meanwhile, bulk cooking oil was priced at Rp19,200 per litre, branded packaged cooking oil grade I at Rp22,650 per litre, and branded packaged cooking oil grade II at Rp22,200 per litre.
