PIHPS: Red Bird's Eye Chilli Price Reaches Rp104,050/kg, Chicken Meat Rp43,450/kg
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The National Strategic Food Price Information Centre (PIHPS), managed by Bank Indonesia, records that prices for the red bird’s eye chilli commodity have reached Rp104,050 per kilogram (kg), while broiler chicken meat is Rp43,450 per kg. Based on data from PIHPS reported in Jakarta on Wednesday at 06.00 WIB, in addition to chicken meat and red bird’s eye chilli, other national retail-level food prices include shallots at Rp44,900 per kg and garlic at Rp39,550 per kg. Furthermore, grade I lower quality rice is priced at Rp14,100 per kg, grade II lower quality rice at Rp14,200 per kg. Meanwhile, grade I medium quality rice is Rp15,650 per kg, and grade II medium quality rice is Rp15,150 per kg. Then, grade I super quality rice is Rp16,700 per kg, and grade II super quality rice is Rp16,200 per kg. Next, PIHPS records the price of large red chilli reaching Rp53,000 per kg, curly red chilli Rp54,900 per kg, and green bird’s eye chilli Rp48,050 per kg. Subsequently, grade I beef is Rp147,300 per kg, and grade II beef is Rp137,750 per kg. The prices of the following commodities are recorded as premium white sugar at Rp19,950 per kg and local white sugar at Rp18,650 per kg. Meanwhile, bulk cooking oil is priced at Rp19,900 per litre, branded packaged cooking oil grade I at Rp22,850 per litre, and branded packaged cooking oil grade II at Rp21,700 per litre. In addition, PIHPS also records the price of broiler chicken eggs at Rp32,350 per kg.
