PIHPS: Red Bird's Eye Chilli at Rp65,750 per kg, Chicken Meat at Rp31,950 per kg

Jakarta (ANTARA) – The National Strategic Food Price Information Centre (PIHPS), managed by Bank Indonesia, has recorded prices for strategic food commodities with red bird’s eye chillies at Rp65,750 per kilogram (kg) and chicken meat at Rp31,950 per kg.

Based on PIHPS data released in Jakarta on Thursday at 09.40 WIB, in addition to chicken meat and red bird’s eye chillies, national retail food prices recorded include shallots at Rp37,400 per kg and garlic at Rp38,050 per kg.

Additionally, grade I lower-quality rice is priced at Rp13,150 per kg, grade II lower-quality rice at Rp13,200 per kg. Medium-grade I rice is at Rp14,550 per kg and medium-grade II rice at Rp14,500 per kg.

Superior-grade I rice is priced at Rp15,300 per kg and superior-grade II rice at Rp15,100 per kg.

The PIHPS has also recorded large red chillies at Rp20,100 per kg, curly red chillies at Rp24,750 per kg and green bird’s eye chillies at Rp27,650 per kg.

Grade I beef is at Rp127,500 per kg and grade II beef is priced at Rp127,500 per kg.

Other commodity prices include premium-grade sugar at Rp17,050 per kg and local-grade sugar at Rp17,700 per kg.

Cooking oil prices are recorded as bulk cooking oil at Rp18,100 per litre, branded packaged cooking oil I at Rp21,700 per litre and branded packaged cooking oil II at Rp20,400 per litre.

Additionally, PIHPS has recorded chicken eggs at Rp31,200 per kg.
