PIHPS: Chicken meat priced at Rp41,750/kg, red chilli at Rp85,500/kg
Jakarta (ANTARA) — The National Strategic Food Price Information Centre (PIHPS), managed by Bank Indonesia, has recorded prices for key food commodities including broiler chicken meat at Rp41,750 per kilogram (kg) and red chilli at Rp85,500 per kg.
According to PIHPS data released in Jakarta on Monday, in addition to chicken and red chilli, the following prices were recorded at the national retail level: red onion at Rp44,800 per kg and garlic at Rp40,850 per kg.
Furthermore, low-grade rice quality I was priced at Rp14,500 per kg, with low-grade rice quality II also at Rp14,500 per kg. Medium-grade rice quality I was recorded at Rp15,900 per kg, whilst medium-grade rice quality II was priced at Rp15,800 per kg.
Premium-grade rice quality I was listed at Rp17,250 per kg and premium-grade rice quality II at Rp16,700 per kg.
PIHPS also recorded prices for large red chilli at Rp45,600 per kg, curly red chilli at Rp43,950 per kg, and green chilli at Rp54,000 per kg.
Beef quality I was priced at Rp145,750 per kg, whilst beef quality II was recorded at Rp138,100 per kg.
Other commodity prices included premium granulated sugar at Rp20,100 per kg and local granulated sugar at Rp18,750 per kg.
Bulk cooking oil was priced at Rp19,250 per litre, branded packaged cooking oil quality I at Rp22,850 per litre, and branded packaged cooking oil quality II at Rp22,050 per litre.
Additionally, PIHPS recorded the price of broiler chicken eggs at Rp33,200 per kg.
