PIHPS: Chicken Egg Prices at Rp30,400/kg, Shallots at Rp54,350/kg

The National Strategic Food Price Information Centre (PIHPS), managed by Bank Indonesia, recorded the price of chicken eggs at Rp30,400 per kilogram (kg), while shallots were priced at Rp54,350 per kg.

According to PIHPS data released in Jakarta on Sunday at 09:30 WIB, other food prices at the national retail level included garlic at Rp38,850 per kg.

Regarding rice, low-quality Grade I was priced at Rp14,650 per kg, and low-quality Grade II at Rp14,450 per kg. Medium-quality Grade I rice was recorded at Rp16,200 per kg, while medium-quality Grade II was at Rp16,050 per kg. Super-quality Grade I rice was priced at Rp17,500 per kg, and super-quality Grade II at Rp16,950 per kg.

Other meat prices included fresh chicken meat at Rp38,150 per kg, Grade I beef at Rp148,500 per kg, and Grade II beef at Rp140,100 per kg.

For sugar, premium-quality granulated sugar was recorded at Rp20,250 per kg, while local granulated sugar was at Rp19,100 per kg.

Meanwhile, bulk cooking oil was priced at Rp20,700 per litre, branded packaged cooking oil Grade I at Rp24,050 per litre, and branded packaged cooking oil Grade II at Rp23,200 per litre.
