PIHPS: Chicken Egg Price Rp33,050/kg, Red Onion Rp44,100/kg

Jakarta (ANTARA) – The National Strategic Food Price Information Centre (PIHPS) managed by Bank Indonesia has recorded chicken egg prices at Rp33,050 per kilogram (kg), whilst red onion prices stand at Rp44,100 per kg.

Based on PIHPS data released in Jakarta on Sunday at 09.55 WIB, other national retail food commodity prices include garlic at Rp40,500 per kg.

Rice prices across various grades are recorded as follows: lower grade I rice at Rp14,500 per kg, lower grade II rice at Rp14,500 per kg, medium grade I rice at Rp15,950 per kg, and medium grade II rice at Rp15,850 per kg. Premium grade I rice is priced at Rp17,200 per kg, whilst premium grade II rice is at Rp16,750 per kg.

PIHPS has recorded chilli prices as follows: large red chilli at Rp48,150 per kg, curly red chilli at Rp47,300 per kg, green bird’s eye chilli at Rp55,000 per kg, and red bird’s eye chilli at Rp84,550 per kg.

Meat prices are recorded as chicken at Rp41,950 per kg, beef grade I at Rp146,600 per kg, and beef grade II at Rp138,550 per kg.

Sugar prices are noted as premium white sugar at Rp19,950 per kg and local white sugar at Rp18,700 per kg.

Cooking oil prices include bulk cooking oil at Rp19,350 per litre, branded packaged cooking oil type I at Rp22,850 per litre, and branded packaged cooking oil type II at Rp21,850 per litre.
