PIHPS: Chicken egg price Rp31,950/kg, shallots Rp46,100/kg

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The National Strategic Food Price Information Centre (PIHPS), managed by Bank Indonesia, records the price of broiler chicken eggs at Rp31,950 per kilogram (kg), while shallots are at Rp46,100 per kg. Based on data from PIHPS, reported in Jakarta on Sunday at 10:00 WIB, besides chicken eggs and shallots, other national retail-level food prices include garlic at Rp39,700 per kg. In addition, lower grade I rice is priced at Rp14,600 per kg, lower grade II rice at Rp14,550 per kg. Meanwhile, medium grade I rice is at Rp16,100 per kg, and medium grade II rice at Rp15,950 per kg. Then, super grade I rice is at Rp17,350 per kg, and super grade II rice at Rp16,900 per kg. Furthermore, PIHPS records the price of large red chillies at Rp48,750 per kg, curly red chillies at Rp46,750 per kg, green bird’s eye chillies at Rp49,000 per kg, and red bird’s eye chillies at Rp64,050 per kg. Subsequently, broiler chicken meat is at Rp39,200 per kg, grade I beef at Rp148,150 per kg, and grade II beef at Rp140,100 per kg. The price of the next commodity, premium white sugar, is recorded at Rp20,250 per kg, and local white sugar at Rp19,250 per kg. Meanwhile, bulk cooking oil is priced at Rp20,500 per litre, branded packaged cooking oil I at Rp23,700 per litre, and branded packaged cooking oil II at Rp22,750 per litre.
