PIHPS: Bird's Eye Chilli Prices Reach Rp55,150 per kg, Chicken Eggs at Rp29,600 per kg
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The National Strategic Food Price Information Centre (PIHPS), managed by Bank Indonesia, recorded the price of red bird’s eye chilli at Rp55,150 per kilogram (kg), while broiler chicken eggs stood at Rp29,600 per kg.
According to PIHPS data released in Jakarta on Wednesday at 09.34 WIB, alongside red bird’s eye chilli and chicken eggs, other national retail food prices included shallots at Rp42,600 per kg and garlic at Rp43,200 per kg.
In addition, lower quality I rice was priced at Rp14,750 per kg and lower quality II rice at Rp14,600 per kg. Medium quality I rice stood at Rp16,400 per kg, while medium quality II rice was at Rp16,200 per kg.
Meanwhile, super quality I rice was priced at Rp17,650 per kg and super quality II rice at Rp17,150 per kg.
Furthermore, PIHPS recorded the price of large red chilli at Rp47,550 per kg, curly red chilli at Rp46,050 per kg, and green bird’s eye chilli at Rp52,450 per kg.
Fresh broiler chicken meat was listed at Rp38,750 per kg, quality I beef at Rp150,550 per kg, and quality II beef at Rp141,700 per kg.
The next commodity prices were premium quality granulated sugar at Rp20,300 per kg and locally produced granulated sugar at Rp19,100 per kg.
Meanwhile, bulk cooking oil was priced at Rp20,550 per litre, branded packaged cooking oil I at Rp24,200 per litre, and branded packaged cooking oil II at Rp23,400 per litre.
