PIHPS: Bird's eye chilli price Rp76,450/kg, chicken eggs Rp32,050/kg
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The National Strategic Food Price Information Centre (PIHPS), managed by Bank Indonesia, recorded food prices on Monday at 10:10 WIB, with the commodity of red bird’s eye chilli reaching Rp76,450 per kilogram (kg), while broiler chicken eggs stood at Rp32,050 per kg. Based on data from PIHPS reported in Jakarta, in addition to red bird’s eye chilli and chicken eggs, other national retail-level food prices include shallots at Rp46,750 per kg and garlic at Rp39,150 per kg. Furthermore, grade I low-quality rice is priced at Rp15,350 per kg, grade II low-quality rice at Rp14,850 per kg. Meanwhile, grade I medium-quality rice is at Rp16,150 per kg, and grade II medium-quality rice at Rp16,300 per kg. Then, grade I super rice is at Rp17,000 per kg, and grade II super rice at Rp16,700 per kg. Next, PIHPS recorded the price of large red chilli at Rp43,400 per kg, curly red chilli at Rp43,100 per kg, and green bird’s eye chilli at Rp48,650 per kg. Subsequently, fresh broiler chicken meat is at Rp39,550 per kg, grade I beef at Rp147,350 per kg, and grade II beef at Rp140,850 per kg. The prices of the following commodities are premium white sugar at Rp20,200 per kg and local white sugar at Rp19,150 per kg. Meanwhile, bulk cooking oil is at Rp20,450 per litre, branded packaged cooking oil grade I at Rp23,550 per litre, and branded packaged cooking oil grade II at Rp22,900 per litre.
