Jakarta (ANTARA) - The National Strategic Food Price Information Centre (PIHPS), managed by Bank Indonesia, recorded food prices as of Thursday at 09:45 WIB, with the commodity of red bird’s eye chilli reaching Rp78,500 per kilogram (kg), while broiler chicken eggs stood at Rp33,950 per kg. Based on data from PIHPS reported in Jakarta, in addition to red bird’s eye chilli and chicken eggs, other national retail-level food prices included shallots at Rp57,250 per kg and garlic at Rp44,000 per kg. Furthermore, grade I low-quality rice was priced at Rp16,050 per kg, grade II low-quality rice at Rp15,550 per kg. Meanwhile, grade I medium-quality rice was at Rp17,600 per kg, and grade II medium-quality rice at Rp17,100 per kg. Then, grade I super rice was at Rp19,400 per kg, and grade II super rice at Rp18,650 per kg. Subsequently, PIHPS recorded the price of large red chilli at Rp62,350 per kg, curly red chilli at Rp48,150 per kg, and green bird’s eye chilli at Rp37,350 per kg. Next, fresh broiler chicken meat was at Rp44,150 per kg, grade I beef at Rp151,900 per kg, and grade II beef at Rp145,450 per kg. The price of the next commodity, premium granulated sugar, was recorded at Rp23,750 per kg, while local granulated sugar was at Rp20,600 per kg. Meanwhile, bulk cooking oil was priced at Rp21,900 per litre, branded packaged cooking oil grade I at Rp25,950 per litre, and branded packaged cooking oil grade II at Rp23,800 per litre.
