PIHPS: Bird's Eye Chilli Price at Rp63,700/kg, Chicken Eggs at Rp31,400/kg
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The National Strategic Food Price Information Centre (PIHPS), managed by Bank Indonesia, recorded food prices on Thursday at 10.40 WIB, with the commodity of red bird’s eye chilli reaching Rp63,700 per kilogram (kg), while broiler chicken eggs stood at Rp31,400 per kg. Based on data from PIHPS reported in Jakarta on Thursday, in addition to red bird’s eye chilli and chicken eggs, other national retail-level food prices included shallots at Rp48,300 per kg and garlic at Rp39,050 per kg. Furthermore, grade I low-quality rice was priced at Rp14,500 per kg, grade II low-quality rice at Rp14,500 per kg. Meanwhile, grade I medium-quality rice was at Rp16,050 per kg, and grade II medium-quality rice at Rp15,850 per kg. Then, grade I super rice was at Rp17,400 per kg, and grade II super rice at Rp16,850 per kg. Subsequently, PIHPS recorded the price of large red chilli at Rp52,400 per kg, curly red chilli at Rp50,300 per kg, and green bird’s eye chilli at Rp48,250 per kg. Following that, fresh broiler chicken meat was at Rp38,900 per kg, grade I beef at Rp150,800 per kg, and grade II beef at Rp142,150 per kg. The price of the next commodity, premium granulated sugar, was recorded at Rp20,700 per kg, and local granulated sugar at Rp19,500 per kg. Meanwhile, bulk cooking oil was priced at Rp21,100 per litre, branded packaged cooking oil grade I at Rp23,950 per litre, and branded packaged cooking oil grade II at Rp23,450 per litre.
