PIHPS: Bird's Eye Chilli at Rp82,450/kg, Chicken Eggs at Rp30,500/kg

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The National Strategic Food Price Information Centre (PIHPS), managed by Bank Indonesia, recorded the price of red bird’s eye chilli at Rp82,450 per kilogram (kg), while chicken eggs were priced at Rp30,500 per kg. According to PIHPS data released in Jakarta on Saturday at 09.45 WIB, other nationally recorded retail food prices include shallots at Rp50,750 per kg and garlic at Rp38,500 per kg. Furthermore, Lower Grade I rice was priced at Rp14,600 per kg, Lower Grade II at Rp14,450 per kg. Medium Grade I rice was Rp16,150 per kg, and Medium Grade II at Rp16,000 per kg. Super Grade I rice was priced at Rp17,400 per kg, and Super Grade II at Rp16,950 per kg. PIHPS also recorded red large chilli at Rp73,050 per kg, curly red chilli at Rp69,600 per kg, and green bird’s eye chilli at Rp53,300 per kg. Fresh chicken meat was priced at Rp39,200 per kg, Grade I beef at Rp150,700 per kg, and Grade II beef at Rp141,150 per kg. Other commodities include premium white sugar at Rp20,250 per kg and local white sugar at Rp19,100 per kg. Meanwhile, loose cooking oil was priced at Rp20,550 per litre, branded cooking oil Grade I at Rp24,000 per litre, and branded cooking oil Grade II at Rp23,150 per litre.
