PIHPS: Bird's eye chilli at Rp64,100 per kg, chicken eggs at Rp28,800 per kg

The National Strategic Food Price Information Centre (PIHPS), managed by Bank Indonesia, recorded that red bird’s eye chilli reached Rp64,100 per kilogram, while purebred chicken eggs stood at Rp28,800 per kilogram.

Based on PIHPS data released in Jakarta on Wednesday at 08.44 WIB, in addition to red bird’s eye chilli and chicken eggs, other nationally recorded retail food prices include shallots at Rp37,500 per kg and garlic at Rp39,850 per kg.

Furthermore, lower-grade rice I was priced at Rp14,750 per kg and lower-grade rice II at Rp14,600 per kg. Medium-grade rice I was recorded at Rp16,300 per kg, while medium-grade rice II stood at Rp15,900 per kg.

Premium-grade rice I was priced at Rp17,400 per kg, and premium-grade rice II at Rp16,850 per kg.

PIHPS also recorded large red chillies at Rp44,150 per kg, curly red chillies at Rp46,150 per kg, and green bird’s eye chillies at Rp50,400 per kg.

Fresh purebred chicken meat was recorded at Rp45,350 per kg, grade I beef at Rp152,650 per kg, and grade II beef at Rp145,100 per kg.

For other commodities, premium granulated sugar was recorded at Rp20,550 per kg and local granulated sugar at Rp15,850 per kg.

Meanwhile, bulk cooking oil was priced at Rp21,500 per litre, branded packaged cooking oil I at Rp24,350 per litre, and branded packaged cooking oil II at Rp23,200 per litre.
