Piaget timepieces at Plaza Senayan

JAKARTA (JP): Gold watches studded with diamonds, sapphires and rubies will be on display at Plaza Senayan, Central Jakarta, from Sept. 7 to Sept. 14.

They are from the collection of Piaget, the firm founded by watchmaker Georges Piaget in 1874 at his workshop in the village of La Cote-aux-Fees, Switzerland.

The exhibition, which the company says will include rare watches owned by a handful of collectors, will be at Sarida International Watches on the first floor of the mall. Display hours are 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Ten watches will be auctioned, with proceeds going to the National Foster Parents Movement. The date of the auction has not been announced. (anr)
