Photocopy Shop Worker Sexually Abuses Boy in Bogor, Acted During Work Hours
A man with the initials AN (34) who sexually abused a 13-year-old boy in Ciampea District, Bogor, West Java, has been revealed to be a photocopy shop worker. The perpetrator carried out his depraved act at his workplace.
“At the perpetrator’s place of business, the photocopy shop, he abused the victim,” said the victim’s advocate, Entin Martini, on Friday (26/6/2026).
Entin explained that the perpetrator enticed the victim by lending him his mobile phone. He then invited the victim to his place of business.
“The picture is that an adult man enticed him by lending him a mobile phone and then took him to his business, the photocopy shop,” she clarified.
“That is where the abuse occurred, allegedly, well, not allegedly anymore because the evidence is already there. The abuse of the child was committed by a man against a boy, so to speak,” she added.
The perpetrator has been named a suspect. Police previously arrested the 34-year-old man after he sexually abused a 13-year-old boy in Ciampea District, Bogor, West Java. Investigators have designated AN as a suspect.
“We are providing an update on the development of the underage sexual abuse case that occurred within the jurisdiction of Ciampea District. We received the report in June, and the case has now resulted in the individual, the perpetrator, being named a suspect,” said the Head of the PPA/PPO Unit of the Bogor Police, AKP Silfi Adi Putri, on Thursday (25/6).
Silfi stated that AN is being charged under multiple articles. The investigation into the case is still ongoing.
“The suspect has the initials AN (34), and the articles we are charging the suspect with are Article 473 paragraph 4 and/or Article 414 and/or Article 415 letter B of the Criminal Code,” she explained.
