DISCOUNT SEASON: As year-end draws closer, most malls and shopping centers in Jakarta are offering discounts on a wide variety of items, including fashion apparel, and men's and women's accessories and toys. Two women take a closer look at some cuddly toys in a mall in Jakarta (photo above). Shoppers taking advantage of the discount season also include men interested in buying jewelry for their wives or daughters as new- year gifts (photo below).
