VICTIM OF BLAST: An explosion victim lies on a stretcher at a
hospital in the provincial capital of Ambon, Maluku. A bomb
hidden in a biscuit tin exploded on Sunday in Ambon, wounding
five people, police said, a day after Indonesia's President
Megawati Soekarnoputri visited the eastern city and denied
allegations of government inaction amid a resurgence of
Christian-Muslim fighting.

ANTI-U.S. RALLY: An Iranian riot policeman attempts to control
demonstrators during a protest against the U.S. and Britain in
front of the British Embassy in Tehran. Hundreds of people, some
throwing firecrackers, demonstrated on Sunday in front of the
British embassy against the actions of U.S.-led forces in Iraq.
The British embassy has become the focus of anti-Western
demonstrations in Iran in the absence of a U.S. diplomatic
presence.
