Phone online payment system

JAKARTA (JP): The Jakarta branch of state-owned
telecommunications company Telkom has introduced an online
payment system to improve services.

Djaman Sinaga, branch public relations manager, said that
under the new system the company opened counters at nine more
post offices to process telephone bill payments yesterday.

The 12 post offices are Kantor Pos Besar I on Jl. Pemuda No.
79 in East Jakarta; Kantor Pos Jatinegara on Jl. Matraman Raya
No. 22, Kantor Pos Besar on Jl. Lapangan Banteng No. 1, Kantor
Pos Tambahan Gunung on Jl. Kyai Maja No. 41, Kantor Pos Tambahan
Kebon Jeruk on Jl. Raya Meruya Ilir in West Jakarta; Kantor Pos
Kemanggisan on Jl. Anggrek Rosliana No. 27, Kantor Pos Besar I
on Jl. Fatmawati Raya No. 10, Kantor Pos Mampang on Jl. Capt. P.
Tendean No. 43, Kantor Pos Besar on Jl. Ampera Timur No. 37 in
South Jakarta.

Previously there were only three post offices receiving
payments for telephone bills in Kalideres, Tegal Alur and Daan
Mogot, Djaman said.

Besides at post offices, customers can also pay their
telephone bills through banks.(hhr)
