In response to the article in the April 17 edition of The
Jakarta Post regarding PT Philip Morris Indonesia's sales
projection, titled Philip Morris expects 15% increase in sales,
we would like to make the following clarifications:

* PT Philip Morris Indonesia's projected volume growth of 15
percent as stated in the article is not correct.

* PT Philip Morris Indonesia is not a publicly listed company in
Indonesia and has a corporate policy of not disclosing any sales
growth projections or figures.
