Pharmacy school's new building
JAKARTA (JP): Governor Surjadi Soedirdja inaugurated the operation of a new building for the school of pharmacy of the University of Pancasila in Srengseng Sawah, South Jakarta, over the weekend.
The new building, which has four stories with a total space of 7,800 square meters, is equipped with 21 laboratories capable of accommodating 1,400 students.
The building is also equipped with a waste processing unit with a capacity of 10 cubic meters of waste per day.
Awaloedin, rector of the university, said the pharmacy school has so far passed 470 apothecaries and 205 pharmacists.
Besides the school of pharmacy, the University of Pancasila also has three other schools -- economic, technical and law. (hhr)
