Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Pharmaceutical issuer PT Phapros Tbk (PEHA) is targeting sales growth of over 20% in 2026, with net profit growing by double digits. In the first three months of 2026, Phapros recorded significant net profit growth reaching 112.86% year-on-year (y-o-y).

Phapros’s profitability in the first quarter of 2026 was supported by a 10.17% increase in sales to Rp221.09 billion, compared to Rp200.67 billion in the same period of 2025. Meanwhile, the cost of goods sold (COGS) in the first quarter of 2026 only rose by 5.04%, and was successfully kept lower than the sales growth. Phapros’s operating expenses for January - March 2026 were also relatively stable, rising only 7.35% y-o-y. The significant sales growth and the ability to maintain COGS and operating expense stability resulted in Phapros posting a net profit of Rp761.49 million in the first quarter of 2026, a 112.86% increase compared to a loss of Rp5.92 billion in the same period the previous year.

PT Phapros Tbk President Director Intan Abdams Katoppo expressed optimism that the company can maintain its financial performance growth in 2026, despite facing various domestic and global challenges. “Phapros’s financial performance trend shows the company has strong business fundamentals. Net profit in 2025 grew 109% and in the first quarter of 2026 it grew even larger, at 113% y-o-y. Therefore, we are optimistic that this trend will continue until the end of this year. To realise this performance growth, Phapros has developed key strategies that serve as the company’s strategic direction for creating long-term added value,” said Intan during the PT Phapros Tbk Public Expose in Jakarta, Friday (12/6/2026).

To improve financial performance in 2026, Intan explained that Phapros has formulated five main strategies. First, strengthening healthy and sustainable finances through working capital management and more measured cost control. Second, increasing customer satisfaction by improving service and product quality as measured by customer satisfaction indices. Third, strengthening the product and business portfolio by reinforcing the existing product portfolio and developing new products, as well as conducting business expansion. Fourth, transforming business systems and processes to increase market share, developing smart supply chains through database integration, fostering innovation, pursuing digital transformation, structuring the cost of goods sold (COGS), and continuously ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. Fifth, optimising human resources and corporate culture by continuously improving and refreshing the organisational structure (organisational restructuring), developing human capital capacity, and implementing a cost-effective human capital ratio to ensure HR effectiveness and efficiency in relation to company production and revenue.

She added that the business process transformation aims to increase market share and sales across all product segments: the over-the-counter (OTC) drug segment, the branded generic (OGB) segment, and the ethical segment. In terms of strengthening the product portfolio, Phapros will also expand its export markets.
