PGN Strengthens Oil and Gas Safety Implementation to Maintain National Infrastructure Reliability

PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persamen) Tbk (PGN), acting as Pertamina’s Gas Subholding, is strengthening the implementation of oil and gas safety as the primary foundation for maintaining the reliability of national natural gas infrastructure. This commitment was emphasised during a General Audience session with the Downstream Oil and Gas Safety Sector Supervisor within the PGN Gas Subholding environment at the PGN Head Office, Jakarta.

The Director of Technical and Environmental Affairs for Oil and Gas at the Directorate General of Oil and Gas, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Joko Hadi Wibowo, outlined government policy directions, regulatory strengthening, and the implementation of the Oil and Gas Safety Management System (SMKM) to support the achievement of national energy resilience and independence.

The audience was also attended by PGN’s Board of Directors, including Director of Strategy and Business Development Mirza Mahendra, Director of Infrastructure and Technology Hery Murahmanta, Director of Risk Management Eri Surya Kelana, and Director of Commercial Aldiansyah Idham, alongside leaders and representatives from entities within the Gas Subholding serving as Technical Heads and Deputy Technical Heads.
