PGN, a gas subsidiary of PT Pertamina (Persero), has announced a cash dividend of $172.29 million (equivalent to Rp3.04 trillion), representing 80% of its $215.36 million attributable net profit for the fiscal year 2025. Shareholders approved the payout during the 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPST). Corporate Secretary Fajriyah Usman stated that maintaining an 80% dividend payout ratio (DPR) reflects PGN’s commitment to balancing shareholder returns with long-term business growth sustainability. ‘An 80% dividend payout ratio also demonstrates the company’s confidence in its cash flow quality, financial discipline, and the strength of PGN’s business fundamentals amid global energy industry dynamics,’ Fajriyah said in a statement on Tuesday, 26 May 2026. She added that PGN will continue its consistent dividend policy while maintaining financial flexibility to support national gas infrastructure and business development. PGN believes the domestic gas business fundamentals remain positive in the long term, driven by rising national energy demand and gas’s role as a transition energy source. The company continues to ensure operational reliability through adaptive management of pipeline and LNG-based gas portfolios, infrastructure optimisation, and operational and financial efficiency. ‘Moving forward, PGN will continue to pursue prudent growth strategies while maintaining financial discipline and creating long-term value for shareholders,’ she said. During the RUPST, shareholders also approved several strategic agendas, including the use of net profit, amendments to the articles of association, auditor appointment, and business development and corporate governance initiatives.
