State-owned gas distribution and transmission company PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk (PGAS), or PGN, paid out a cash dividend of $172.29 million, or approximately Rp3.04 trillion, at its Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the 2025 financial year. This represents 80% of the attributable net profit of $215.36 million.

The decision to maintain a dividend payout ratio (DPR) of 80% signals the company’s confidence in its cash flow and business fundamentals amid global energy sector volatility.

Corporate Secretary PGN Fajriyah Usman said the policy reflects the company’s efforts to balance shareholder returns with long-term business sustainability.

“The 80% dividend payout ratio also reflects the company’s confidence in the quality of its cash flow, financial discipline, and the strength of its business fundamentals amid global energy sector dynamics,” Fajriyah stated in a press release on Tuesday, 26 May 2026.

She added that PGN will continue its consistent dividend policy while maintaining financial flexibility to support national gas infrastructure and business development initiatives.

To ensure business continuity, PGN maintains operational reliability through adaptive management of its pipeline and liquefied natural gas (LNG) portfolios.

Additionally, the company is optimising its infrastructure and maintaining operational and financial efficiency to support business growth.

“Moving forward, PGN will continue to pursue prudent growth strategies while maintaining financial discipline and creating long-term value for shareholders,” Fajriyah stressed.

The agenda included net profit allocation, articles of association amendments, auditor appointment, and discussions on business development and corporate governance.

As Pertamina’s gas subholding, PGN operates in gas transmission and distribution, as well as integrated gas energy infrastructure and services across Indonesia.

PGN manages over 95% of Indonesia’s downstream gas infrastructure and controls more than 90% of the country’s commercial gas market. The company is also strengthening its role in supporting national energy security and the energy transition.
