JAKARTA – PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk or PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk has approved a cash dividend of $172.29 million, or approximately Rp3.04 trillion, at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the 2025 financial year. This amount equals 80% of the net profit attributable to the parent company, which was $215.36 million. Corporate Secretary Fajriyah Usman said the company maintains a dividend payout ratio (DPR) of 80% to balance returns for shareholders and long-term business sustainability. “The 80% dividend payout ratio reflects the company’s confidence in the quality of cash flow, financial discipline, and the strength of PGN’s business fundamentals amid global energy industry dynamics,” Fajriyah stated on Monday (26/5/2026). She added that PGN continues its consistent dividend policy while maintaining financial flexibility to support the development of national gas infrastructure and business. PGN sees positive prospects for domestic natural gas business due to rising national energy demand and gas’s role as a transition fuel. The company also continues to ensure operational reliability through adaptive management of pipeline and LNG-based gas portfolios, infrastructure optimisation, and operational and financial efficiency. “Moving forward, PGN will continue to implement prudent growth strategies while maintaining financial discipline and creating long-term value for shareholders,” Fajriyah said. In addition to approving the dividend, shareholders also agreed on other strategic agendas at the AGM, including the use of net profit, amendments to the articles of association, auditor appointment, and business development and corporate governance initiatives.
