PGN has mobilised the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr Task Force (Satgas RAFI) 2026 to safeguard the reliability and security of natural gas supply to communities during the Ramadan period through Eid al-Fitr.

‘Satgas RAFI is part of PGN’s commitment to distributing natural gas, both pipeline gas and LNG, to all customers safely and reliably across our operational areas,’ said Corporate Secretary Fajriyah Usman in a statement received in Jakarta on Wednesday.

In its operations, Satgas RAFI prioritises network and infrastructure oversight through real-time monitoring, periodic patrols, and pressure monitoring of the gas network via a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system. Monitoring is also conducted through the Integrated Monitoring Center (IMOC) at PGN’s head office, which monitors operations in an integrated manner across service areas.

‘The Trouble Handling Team is ready on standby 24 hours a day to ensure that any potential disruption can be addressed quickly and in a coordinated manner, including through strengthened cross-unit coordination and coordination with Subholding Gas affiliates,’ Usman said.

During the RAFI period, PGN will supply natural gas to households, small customers, and the commercial and industrial sectors, including more than 9 power plants to help ensure electricity remains on during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr.

The deliveries are supported by infrastructure comprising more than 33,400 km of gas pipeline network, 13 SPBGs, 3 MRUs, and 3 LNG terminals spread across 18 provinces and 74 regencies/cities.

To meet the needs of Gas Fuel (BBG) for the transportation sector, PGN has prepared a capacity of up to 177,750 litres equivalent to Premium (LSP) or equivalent to 8.2 BBTUD to ensure mobility remains smooth.

PGN also emphasised the important role of customers in maintaining the safe utilisation of natural gas, especially for households ahead of homeward travel, by taking standard protective steps before leaving their homes so that the celebrations run safely and comfortably.

Information and assistance related to natural gas services can be obtained by contacting Pertamina Contact Center 135 or visiting the nearest PGN Area Office.
