PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk (PGN), Pertamina’s Gas Subholding, has once again presented a corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme that provides tangible benefits to the community through a Mass Wedding Programme entitled ‘Awal Baru, Penuh #EnergiBaik’ (A New Beginning, Full of #GoodEnergy). This programme is a manifestation of PGN’s concern in helping the community fulfil one of their basic needs, namely obtaining legal certainty for marriages that are valid under law and religion. The programme took place at the PGN Auditorium on Friday (26/6), attended by nine couples from the Central Jakarta area, the majority of whom work as private employees and traders. Five couples performed the marriage contract directly, while four couples took part in a symbolic procession and will continue with the marriage confirmation hearing (isbat nikah) process. Each couple was accompanied by their families as a form of support during this important moment. PGN Corporate Secretary Fajriyah Usman said that marriage is an important phase in building a family. Therefore, the legality of marriage not only provides legal certainty but also serves as the foundation for fulfilling various family rights in the future. ‘Through this Mass Wedding Programme, we want to help couples start a new chapter of life with hope, legal certainty, and blessings. This is a tangible manifestation of PGN’s commitment to delivering #EnergiBaik that has a positive impact on people’s lives,’ Fajriyah said in a statement on Saturday (27/6/2026). Fajriyah added that the family is an important foundation in building a strong and prosperous society. Therefore, PGN seeks to present programmes that are not merely ceremonial but also provide sustainable benefits for the recipients. As part of this support, PGN facilitated the entire implementation of the marriage contract until the couples received their official Marriage Books from the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA). In addition, each couple also received household equipment and an initial family needs package as provisions to start their household life. Through this programme, PGN supports the strengthening of the family institution as one of the foundations of social welfare. The company’s presence in the community is expected to create shared value, where business growth goes hand in hand with improving the quality of life of the community.
