Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - State-owned listed company PT Pertamina Energy Tbk (PGEO) recorded a profit of US$79.62 million in the first half of 2026. This figure grew 15.47 per cent from US$68.95 million in the same period last year.

Basic earnings per share also climbed to US$0.0019 from US$0.0017 previously. Revenue reached US$235.03 million, a surplus of 14.73 per cent from US$204.85 million in the same period last year.

Meanwhile, cost of revenue and other direct expenses stood at US$104.58 million, swelling from US$84.19 million in the same period of 2025. Gross profit was US$130.44 million, up from US$120.65 million.

General and administrative expenses were US$16.36 million, up from US$11.33 million. Other income was US$483 thousand, rising from US$387 thousand. Operating profit was US$114.55 million, surging from US$109.7 million. Financial income was US$11.5 million, down from US$15.77 million.

Foreign exchange gains reached US$5.05 million, rocketing from a loss of US$13.44 million. Share of losses from joint ventures was US$29 thousand, compared to a profit of US$82 thousand previously. Finance expenses were US$15.25 million, up from US$14.7 million. Income tax expenses were US$36.22 million, an increase from the previous US$28.48 million. Profit for the year was US$79.6 million, slightly up from US$68.93 million.
