KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS), or PGN as Pertamina’s gas subholding, approved a cash dividend of US$172.29 million, or approximately Rp3.04 trillion (at BI’s central exchange rate of Rp17,673 per USD), at its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPST) for the 2025 fiscal year. This represents 80% of the net profit attributable to the parent company for the 2025 fiscal year, which amounted to US$215.36 million. Corporate Secretary Fajriyah Usman stated that maintaining an 80% dividend payout ratio (DPR) reflects PGAS’s commitment to balancing shareholder returns with long-term business growth sustainability. According to Fajriyah, PGAS continues its consistent dividend policy while maintaining financial flexibility to support national gas infrastructure and business development initiatives. PGAS believes the fundamentals of the domestic gas business remain positive in the long term, driven by rising national energy demand and gas’s role as a transition energy source. The company also continues to ensure operational reliability through adaptive management of pipeline and LNG-based gas portfolios, infrastructure optimisation, and operational and financial efficiency. “Moving forward, PGN will continue to pursue prudent growth strategies while maintaining financial discipline and creating long-term value for shareholders,” Fajriyah said.
