JAKARTA — PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS) posted a net profit of USD 215.4 million, or Rp 3.6 trillion at the rate of Rp 16,925 per USD, for 2025. The figure is lower than the same period last year of USD 339.4 million. During 2025, the company recorded EBITDA of USD 971.2 million with operating cash flow remaining positive at USD 657.1 million. Cash and cash equivalents stood at USD 1.3 billion at year end 2025. “PGN consistently applies prudence in cash flow management and portfolio management,” Corporate Secretary Fajriyah Usman said in a press release on Saturday, 7 March 2026. “Efficiencies and operational optimization are important to maintaining the company’s resilience amid energy industry dynamics,” she added. One of these efficiency measures was a reduction in general and administrative expenses by USD 33.3 million, or around 17 percent lower than the previous year. According to the company’s financial performance report, for 2025 PGN also recorded revenue growth of 4.9 percent to USD 3.9 billion from USD 3.7 billion in the prior year. This performance was driven by PGN’s core gas midstream and downstream business, particularly gas transmission and distribution activities and LNG infrastructure development. Operationally, gas transmission volume reached 1,609 MMSCFD, up about 4 percent from the previous year. Regasification volumes through Lampung FSRU facility and Arun Terminal reached 254 BBTUD. The company also continued to strengthen energy infrastructure by adding more than 230 kilometres of distribution pipeline network in 2025 and maintaining an operational reliability rate of 98.84 percent. “With a diversified business portfolio and disciplined financial management, we are optimistic we can continue to maintain business stability while creating long-term value for stakeholders,” emphasized Fajriyah.
