PEVS 2026 to Feature 38 Brands

Jakarta (ANTARA) – A total of 38 automotive brands will take part in the Periklindo Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS) 2026, scheduled to run at JIExpo Kemayoran in Central Jakarta from 29 October to 1 November.

According to the organisers, the exhibition will showcase electric car brands including BAIC, BYD, Denza, MAB, Chery, DFSK, MG and Wuling, as well as electric motorbike brands such as Alva, Honda, Polytron, Selis and United E-Motor.

PT Dyandra Promosindo President Director Daswar Marpaung said in Jakarta on Thursday that PEVS 2026 was being held amid optimism about sales of battery-electric vehicles in Indonesia.

According to data from the Association of Indonesian Automotive Manufacturers (Gaikindo), shipments of battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) from factories to dealers reached 101,171 units between January and August 2026, up from 51,191 units over the same period the previous year.

“In 2024, electric car sales were only 99,000 units. In 2025, sales had reached 150,000 units, and by last August electric vehicle sales had already reached 101,000 units,” Daswar said.

He said the increase presented opportunities for automotive industry players to expand the use of vehicles with electrification technology and grow the market.

PEVS 2026 is expected to support the growth of the electric-vehicle market and improve consumers’ understanding of cleaner vehicle options.
