Jakarta — The Indonesian Electric Vehicle Industry Association (PERIKLINDO), along with Dyandra Promosindo, is once again organising the PERIKLINDO Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS) 2026. The electric vehicle exhibition will run from 29 October to 1 November 2026 at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta.

PERIKLINDO’s Chairman Moeldoko said the fifth edition of PEVS carries the theme ‘The Future of Clean and Efficient Mobility’. According to him, the theme describes the direction of future transport development that places increasing emphasis on energy efficiency and environmentally friendly mobility.

‘I see that going forward this theme will become a major objective. How we mobilise in an efficient and clean way. That is no longer negotiable,’ Moeldoko said at the launch of PEVS 2026 in Jakarta, Thursday (21 May 2026).

Moeldoko valued that using electric vehicles not only provides efficiency for users but also impacts the environment and government budget savings. He noted that electric vehicles can help cut energy subsidies while supporting better air quality.

He said government policy consistency is an important factor in accelerating the growth of the national electric vehicle industry. Moeldoko hopes the incentives policy for electric vehicles can continue so the industry has certainty.

‘This policy should not be easily changed because it relates to the readiness of the industry. The industrial world needs certainty,’ he said.

At this year’s event, PEVS will not only feature an exhibition of electric vehicles but also host a conference that brings together industry players to discuss technology developments, business opportunities, and the challenges of the electric vehicle sector in Indonesia.

Moeldoko said PEVS 2026 will also present broader electric vehicle innovations, including air transport modes and autonomous vehicle technology.
