Petrosea wins contract

JAKARTA (JP): Publicly listed PT Petrosea has been awarded a US$50.8 million project for phase seven of Total Indonesie's Tunu Field Development Project in East Kalimantan, the company announced on Monday.

Petrosea's president Tony Speechley said the company would immediately start the project, which is located on the outer margin of the Mahakam River delta. It is expected to be completed in 20 months.

The company will engineer, procure, construct and install offshore platforms and pipelines for the Tunu gas and condensate field, Speechley said.

Petrosea's Australian parent company, Clough Limited, will provide a shallow water lay barge, Clough Challenge, for the installation for the offshore pipelines, he said. (das)
