Petronas launches Syntium lubricants
JAKARTA: PT Petronas Niaga Indonesia (PNI), a subsidiary of Malaysia-based oil and gas firm Petronas, has launched a synthetic lubricant oil that meets the latest performance requirements of the American Petroleum Institute (API).
PNI president director Faris Mustaffa said the Syntium SM series were "adapted Formula 1 technology" for the public.
Available in several variants -- fully synthetic Syntium 5000, 3000 and 1000 lubricants, as well as the semi-synthetic Syntium 800 -- the products would be offered at between Rp 42,500 (US$4.5) and Rp 149,000 a liter. -- JP/002
