Petrol Prices Fall in First Week of August

The price of petrol at Pertamina, Shell, and BP fuel stations has been observed to fall in the first week of August, although there has been an increase in diesel prices at private fuel stations. Quoted from Pertamina’s official website in Jakarta on Monday, petrol prices have decreased compared to July. The following are the details of fuel prices at Pertamina stations in Jakarta: Pertalite Rp10,000 per litre; Subsidised Solar Rp6,800 per litre; Pertamax Rp15,950 per litre, down from Rp16,250 per litre; Pertamax Turbo Rp18,300 per litre, down from Rp19,300 per litre; Pertamax Green Rp16,600 per litre, down from Rp17,000 per litre; Dexlite Rp19,700 per litre; and Pertamina Dex Rp21,150 per litre. Furthermore, Shell stations, which had experienced stock shortages since the beginning of the year, are now selling diesel again, specifically V-Power Diesel. The price details at Shell stations since 1 July are as follows: V-Power Diesel Rp21,910 per litre, up from Rp21,340 per litre. Meanwhile, petrol prices at BP stations have been observed to fall compared to July, but diesel prices have increased. The following are the price details at BP stations: BP Ultimate Rp16,760 per litre, down from Rp17,240 per litre; BP 92 Rp16,130 per litre, down from Rp16,670 per litre; and BP Ultimate Diesel Rp21,910, up from Rp21,340 per litre.
